Each and every type of appliance requires parts that are unique or specific to that particular model. All we need is your model number. EVERY appliance has one so look for this sticker or plate that contains the model/serial number. Not sure where to find it? [click here]
Beware of companies that claim to have universal parts. Let’s use a belt for example. If there was such a thing as a universal belt, then we at Carver Appliance, along with all the appliance manufacturers worldwide, would only have to stock one! (Just think of all the space and money that would be saved!) There are many different sizes and lengths of belts. We stock numerous sku’s of the common, most requested belts. So before you “click on” or grab that universal package off the shelf, remember… there’s no such thing as a universal belt! We have genuine factory parts made for your exact model. Call, click shop or stop in today at Carver Appliance.
Where Can I Find My Model/Serial Number and Why Is It So Important?
Every home appliance has a model/serial number tag affixed to the product (do not remove). Without this information, we’re unable to assume or guess which specific components belong to your model. These number/letter combinations tell us your model’s exact replacement parts as they are not universal. From brand to brand, year to year, and even model to model, these items may differ. Unless someone hand wrote the model and serial number of your appliance into the guide, then it’s not in your owner’s manual.
In most cases, these use and care guide booklets are made for several different models and don’t include the complete and necessary information.
Small enough to care, big enough to get the job done!
